About
My journey into development didn't begin behind a computer—it started in security, where an early interest in cybersecurity grew into a serious passion for technology and problem-solving. That passion led me to pursue a degree focused on cybersecurity and expand my understanding of how systems, networks, and software work together. Unfortunately, circumstances surrounding my employment and financial responsibilities made continuing college unrealistic at the time, forcing me to step away from my degree before completing it. While that changed the path I expected to take, it never changed the direction I wanted my career to go. I'm still learning—and that's intentional. Technology never stops changing, and I don't intend to stop learning with it..
I later continued my career in public safety as a Peace Officer. That experience strengthened skills that have carried directly into my work in technology: critical thinking, communication, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems when the consequences are real and time matters. Eventually, I was given the opportunity to return to the passion I had never really left behind. I began formal training in AI Software Engineering while continuing independent studies in network engineering, cybersecurity, and the growing intersection between artificial intelligence and secure systems. Today, I'm building toward a career as an AI Software Engineer, combining my background in security and public safety with software development, networking, cybersecurity, and AI.I later continued my career in public safety as a Peace Officer. What I do
I design and build software with a focus on AI-driven development, clean user experiences, and practical solutions to real-world problems.
AI · HTML · CSS · JavaScript · PythonMy background in cybersecurity shapes how I approach development. I think beyond whether something works and consider how systems, networks, data, and users stay secure.
Security · Networking · Systems · RiskMy experience in security and public safety taught me to analyze problems, adapt quickly, and stay focused under pressure. I bring that same mindset to engineering.
